Transformational coaching works at the level of identity and underlying belief rather than purely at the level of goals, behaviour and action. Where conventional coaching helps someone think through what they want and how to get it, transformational coaching addresses why they are not already there, specifically the beliefs, patterns, emotional habits and identity structures that are creating the gap. It draws on psychological frameworks, somatic awareness, NLP and where relevant energy-based approaches to produce change that goes deeper than strategy or accountability alone.

A life coach typically helps clients clarify goals, plan action and maintain accountability. A transformational coach does this and also works with the deeper layer beneath the goal: what beliefs are limiting this person, where does their self-concept need to expand, what emotional patterns are keeping them in the same cycle. The tools are different, the depth of engagement is different, and the results tend to be more lasting. The Transformational Life Coach Diploma at Soul Awakening Academy trains in both dimensions.

Unless otherwise stated, our courses are delivered online via our learning portal and are self-study with no time limits.

Chakra-based coaching uses the chakra system as a diagnostic and intervention framework within coaching practice. Each of the seven energy centres corresponds to specific psychological and emotional themes: the Root chakra to safety and security, the Sacral to creativity and relationships, the Solar Plexus to confidence and personal power, the Heart to love and grief, the Throat to communication and authenticity, the Third Eye to clarity and intuition, and the Crown to purpose and spiritual connection. A coach trained in chakra-based coaching can identify which centre is most relevant to a client's presenting issue and use targeted techniques to address it at that level.

The Transformational Life Coach Diploma is self-paced with lifetime access. Most students complete it within three to six months at a comfortable study pace. There is no deadline and you can return to the materials as often as needed after completing the diploma.

Yes. The Transformational Life Coach Diploma at Soul Awakening Academy is accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM). On completion you receive an IPHM accredited certificate and CPD points, and you are eligible to apply for professional practitioner insurance.
